Well, the peanut butter buttercream frosting was awesome ...

  2. Happy birthday! Hmm... want to share the frosting recipe? (And did you get to blow out your own candles or did the small people beat you to it?)

    1. So easy. One stick of room temp butter (1/2 cup), 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, couple tablespoons heavy cream. Mix in a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer) until fluffy. Then put on your cupcakes (if your kids don't beat you to the bowl).

      I did get to blow out at least candle, but Joe helped me with the rest. :-)

    2. Mmm thank you, I think I need to try this! My fave is cream cheese icing with a bit of golden syrup and powdered ginger (together with cream cheese and icing sugar in very imprecise amounts). But this sounds brilliant!
